EARL & ALVERNA MESSICK

In 1980 the Messicks felt led of the Lord to "Go to the Dry Areas and Reach Neglected People." They were obedient to the Lord and went to the Navajo Reservation. God has  blessed as they have ministered His word. He has worked with them, confirming His word with signs following. [Mark 16:20]

Earl and Alverna also minister across the nation, holding meetings and seminars. They are  guests on Christian Television, Aglow, and Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship. They  write books and also do counseling.

Earl and Alverna Messick accepted Jesus into their lives while in their teens. After marriage, they both attended Nyack Bible College, in Nyack, New York. They have been in evangelism ever since, holding meetings in churches throughout the United States.

Earl and Alverna went back to school and both earned Masters degrees in education: Earl from Miami University at Oxford, Ohio; and, Alverna from University of California at Riverside. They both taught school for a number of years and ministered on weekends and in the summer.

In 1974 Earl became very ill. His condition worsened for two years and he was not expected  to live.  However, God healed him and gave him good health. Soon after the miraculous healing  they were both filled with the Holy Spirit, and given a new understanding of God's word.

Since that time they have been used powerfully ministering healing and in the baptism in the  Holy Spirit as well as leading people into salvation.

They are known for the "joy" that permeates them and is imparted to others.
